Registration for Tennis Lessons and CUTA League opens April 24th.

TENNIS LESSONS (8-18 Years Old) Beginner, Intermediate, and Advanced: Registration is open from April 24th until all spots are filled.  Fee is $50.

Session 1:  June 5th–June 15th  Classes will be held for 2 weeks Monday through Thursday. Choose class times at 8:30, 9:30 and 10:30am with each class lasting one hour.

Session 2 June 19th–June 29th Monday through Thursday. Choose class times at 8:30, 9:30 and 10:30am with each class lasting one hour.

Program Information: This is an instructional tennis program for boys and girls ages 8 to 18 with beginner / intermediate / advanced skills.  Players need to bring their own racquet and will be grouped together according to skill.  Registration begins April 24th. Sessions will be held at the lower Arts Park tennis courts and expand to the upper High School courts depending on enrollment.  There will be a 6:1 teacher/student ratio, which means more instruction and contact with the ball. CENTRAL UTAH TENNIS LEAGUE “CUTA” (8-14 Years Old): Registration is open April 24th until all spots are filled.  Fee is $80 and includes a T-shirt.

Boys League: June 5 – July 19
Mondays –         Match Play 9:00-10:30 am (Must provide transportation to and from away matches).
Wednesdays –   Practice time and location to be determined.
Thursdays –       Practice time and location to be determined.

Girls League: June 6 – July 19
Tuesdays –       Match Play 9:00-10:30 am (Must provide transportation to and from away matches).
Wednesdays –  Practice time and location to be determined.
Thursdays –      Practice time and location to be determined.

Program Information: This program is designed for intermediate to advanced players.  The program provides instruction through drills & coaching two days a week.  Participants will have one match a week against another CUTA league team in Utah County.  Individuals are positioned/ranked on the Springville CUTA team based on skill and matched against players from other CUTA teams of the same ranking in singles and/or doubles.  Players must have basic tennis skills to participate.  This includes the ability to serve and rally.  The season ends with the Wilbur Braithwaite Tournament (mid-July) involving all CUTA players.  Parents must provide transportation for their children to attend the “away matches”. *Registration is open 24 hours a day and 7 days a week through the Rec1 online system. Users must create a family account and log in to register. If you have difficulties with Rec1 online registration, please call the Rec office during regular business hours at 801-489-2730. If you forget your password, please call and it can be re-set. Please do not create multiple accounts to register your participant. Most registration problems can be solved quickly over the telephone. Cash and check payments for registration are accepted in-office at Springville Recreation, 443 South 200 East, during regular business hours.
