Tues, Dec 16                7:00pm             Holiday Stories with Donald Davis                                          A Holiday Gift for Springville…..Donald Davis in Concert                                                Join master storyteller Donald Davis for a special performance on Tuesday, December 16 at 7:00 pm at the Springville Library. This free performance is a great way to catch the Holiday spirit.                                                                                                         Donald Davis is a longtime Timpanogos Storytelling Festival favorite and has performed on some of America’s most prestigious stages including at the Smithsonian, National Storytelling Festival, and World’s Fair. Donald has appeared also on PBS, NPR, CNN, and ABC. The performance is supported by the Utah Division of Arts & Museums and the National Endowment for the Arts. The program is recommended for ages six and above.

Sat, Nov 22                   10:00am           From Heartbreak to Hope and Healing                           This free event is in recognition of Survivors of Suicide Loss Day.  Come listen to Dr. Greg Hudnall, executive director of Hope4Utah, and Wendy Parmley, author of Hope After Suicide. There will be activities for kids, information available from mental health resources, a gratitude table, and more.

This is a quiet gathering, and a good chance to really focus on your story. Questions and quiet discussion are welcome, but be ready to get down to business. This event is hosted by Matthew Walker, who has been the Municipal Liaison for 9 years, so if you have any questions about NaNoWriMo he can answer them.
