Mon, Dec 15 7-9pm Santa at the Library! Santa will be visiting the library on several dates in December to hand out candy canes and visit with all the children of Springville! Parents are welcome to take pictures.
Tues, Dec 16 12:00pm Books & Bites Book Club Come enjoy great book conversation over your lunch hour. This month’s title is “Night Flight” by Antoine de Saint-Exupery. January’s book – “Where’s You Go, Bernadette?” by Maria Semple will be available for check out any time after this meeting.
Tues, Dec 16 7:00pm Holiday Stories with Donald Davis A Holiday Gift for Springville…..Donald Davis in Concert Join master storyteller Donald Davis for a special performance on Tuesday, December 16 at 7:00 pm at the Springville Library. This free performance is a great way to catch the Holiday spirit. Donald Davis is a longtime Timpanogos Storytelling Festival favorite and has performed on some of America’s most prestigious stages including at the Smithsonian, National Storytelling Festival, and World’s Fair. Donald has appeared also on PBS, NPR, CNN, and ABC. The performance is supported by the Utah Division of Arts & Museums and the National Endowment for the Arts. The program is recommended for ages six and above.
Tues, Dec 16 8:00pm Yoga Join licensed yoga instructor Jolene Hale for this 45 minute class on our second floor. Jolene graduated from BYU with a BS in Exercise Science. She has practiced yoga for 12 years and has been teaching for the last 6 years. She is very excited to be sharing her love of yoga with everyone in Springville. Experienced yogis and anyone new to yoga are encouraged to attend.
This is our last yoga class for 2014. Come back for Jolene’s class beginning on Tues, Jan 6th.
Fri, Dec 19 6:30pm Teen Night – Christmas Party It’s time for the ugly Christmas sweater contest and gingerbread house decorating!
Sat, Dec 20 10:00am Zumba Join licensed Zumba instructor Ayda Gamez for a great Saturday morning workout! This is the last Zumba class for 2014. Ayda will take the next two weeks off. Join her for Zumba beginning again on Sat, January 10th.
