I was raised in Springville and graduated from Springville High School.  I attended Brigham Young University where I majored in political science and earned a law degree in 1997.  I am married to Kami Measom Creer, and we have four sons: Alex, Andrew, Nick, and Ben.  I currently work as an attorney with an office here in Springville. I coached in the city youth sports programs for ten years in multiple sports, and really enjoyed the opportunity to work with Springville’s next generation of leaders.

I have served on the Springville City Council for the past four years.  I have been asked many times during those four years why I would want to be a member of the city council.  All I can say in reply is that I really enjoy the experience.  I like being a city councilperson.  I enjoy talking to Springville residents and trying to help make our city a better place.  I have made my best effort to advocate for all Springville citizens, and make decisions that will be for the benefit of our city.  I hope I have the opportunity to serve for another term as a representative of Springville.
