 NOTICE OF MUNICIPAL GENERAL ELECTION

Notice is hereby given that Springville City will hold a non-partisan municipal general election on November 7, 2017 to elect a Mayor and two (2) council members each to serve a four-year term. Candidate filing period begins June 1, 2017 and ends on June 7, 2017 during regular business hours. Declaration of Candidacy Forms or Nomination Petition must be filed in person with the City Recorder at 110 South Main Street, Springville, Utah. If you are interested in being a poll worker, you will need to contact Utah County Elections at (801) 851-8128.

REQUIREMENTS TO RUN FOR MUNICIPAL OFFICE

Candidates must be:

  • 18 years old
  • A US citizen
  • A registered voter
  • A resident of Springville (or a recently annexed area) for 12 consecutive months prior to the election.

Any mentally incompetent person, or any person convicted of a felony, or any person convicted of treason or a crime against the elective franchise may not hold office in this state until the right to vote or hold elective office is restored as provided by statute.
