Here is a listing of all our programs this week (All of our weekly children’s programs continue as normal).  We are especially happy to offer CyberIQ on Wednesday evening. A team from BYU will be here to present and discuss safe online habits for teens and adults.  You won’t want to miss it. And as an added bonus, Springville High School will offer detention credit for this program!

Mon, April 14                          7:00pm                    Family Night with Baby Chickens!The Spanish Fork Cal-Ranch store will bring some real baby chicks for us to see! Come learn what life is like for a baby chicken! All Families invites.

Tues, April 15                          12:00pm                  Books & Bites – Adult Book Club Join us for a lively discussion of I Married Adventure by Osa Johnson .  Next month’s book – O Pioneers by Willa Cather – will be available at the adult information desk any time after today’s meeting. Make sure and check out a copy!

Tues, April 15                          8:00pm                    Yoga                                           Join licensed yoga instructor Jolene Hales for this 45 minute class  Jolene Hale  graduated from BYU with a BS in Exercise Science. She has practiced yoga for 12 years and has been teaching for the last 6 years. She is very excited to be sharing her love of yoga with everyone in Springville. Experienced yogis and anyone new to yoga are encouraged to attend.

Wed, April 16                          7:00pm                    CyberIQ                                        Join BYU’s Master of Information Systems Management team as they present CyberIQ!   CyberIQ’s goal is to bridge the gap between security awareness and security education so that teens, parents, and educators can know how to actually do something about the threats that currently exist, protecting themselves and their families from online threats. This presentation at the Springville Library is open to all parents and teens who want to establish safe online habits.

Thurs, April 17                        10:30am                  Zumba Gold                             Certified Zumba instructor Lara Gurney will teach this class designed for older adults or those with limited mobility.  Zumba Gold provides modified, low-impact moves and easy-to-follow pacing for a healthy, active lifestyle! Make sure to wear comfortable shoes and bring a water bottle.

Thurs, April 17                        7:00pm               “So You Want to Read Hemingway”  Join Margy Layton and her guest, UVU’s Mark Pepper, for another presentation in this series aimed at the adventurous reader!  Whether you are already a Hemingway fan or have yet to dive into his books, come listen and participate in this discussion that will inspire you to read – or reread -Hemingway!

Sat, April 19                            10:00am                  Clyde Creation Studio Mac Class Sign up at the front desk for these Saturday morning classes in our Mac lab. The entire month of April will focus on producing a newsletter – either for family or business. Today’s class will be on Integrating Photoshop & Illustrator. Come get inspired and learn new Mac skills!

Sat, April 19                          11:30am                Childbirth Options Class                Join trained doula and childbirth educator Laura Dugovic for this class designed to empower and inform women of their childbirth choices.  Couples welcome. This class is 3 hours (11:30am-2:30pm).
