This week’s Tuesday night concert features Festive People. These guys won the Art City Battle of the Bands and also opened for Journey at this year’s Stadium of Fire! Food trucks this week include Art City Donuts, Corndog Commander, & Kona Ice.

Come enjoy great book conversation over your lunch hour. This month’s title is Desert Wife by Hilda Faunce.  August’s book – Infidel by Ayann Hirsi Ali will be available for check out any time after this meeting.

Come enjoy great music and food truck fun every Tuesday evening from July 7th – August 11th.  The food trucks will be ready to serve by 6pm, and the evening concerts will begin at 7pm.  As long as the weather is nice, we’ll be outside on our deck. Remember to bring lawn chairs or a blanket!  But the show goes on – rain or shine! In case of inclement weather, we’ll move inside to our second floor.  Come enjoy your Tuesday summer evenings with friends and family here with us!

Join illustrator and animator, Ezra Smith, for a night of comics.  He will show you tips and techniques for storyboarding comics, graphic novels, and animation.  Then try your hand at your own storyboard.

Holly Lambert is a native of Springville and has lived here most of her life.  She now lives in Mapleton with her husband and 3 children.   Holly recently certified in Ashtanga Yoga and looks forward to sharing the benefits that Yoga can bring to all ages.

We have lots going on this week!

On Tuesday, we’ll continue our summer concerts with a bluegrass group – Red Desert Ramblers. Remember your lawn chairs!  And on Wednesday, we’ll have our Harper Lee Celebration at 7pm.  Robinne Booth’s summer theater group will be performing a scene from “To Kill a Mockingbird”, David Fife, BYU English professor, will give a short presentation, and Joyce Whiting returns with Southern-style refreshments!

Remember that the children’s final event is this Friday – The Dazzle Dogzz – at 11am & 12:30pm. Teen Night is also Friday – Tech Drones at 5pm and the Harry Potter July Yule Ball at 6:30pm.

Read a story to Peaches to help your reading skills.  Register at the children’s desk on the day of Peaches’ visit. She will visit the Springville Library on the 2nd and 4th Mondays of each month. Peaches is a certified Reading Education Assistance Dog.

Come enjoy a fun evening celebrating the release of Harper Lee’s Go Set a Watchman.  We’ll have a teen theater group here to perform a short act from To Kill a Mockingbird, BYU English professor David Fife will discuss themes to look for in Lee’s new book, and Joyce Whiting will have a Southern style refreshment table for the evening.

Join licensed yoga instructor Jolene Hale for this 45 minute class on our second floor.
Jolene graduated from BYU with a BS in Exercise Science. She has practiced yoga for 12 years and has been teaching for the last 6 years. She is very excited to be sharing her love of yoga with everyone in Springville. Experienced yogis and anyone new to yoga are encouraged to attend.
